Due diligence

Through working closely with our clients we understand the need to assess the value and risks associated with the potential sale or purchase of a portfolio.

We have professional in-house capability to provide due diligence including detailed reviews of data tapes, information memoranda, loan files and asset inspections. By combining this with our experience of resolving impaired loans in Europe, we make sure data migration and servicing can begin as soon as the transaction closes.

Provision of legal title

Our servicing operation provides access to the mortgage market through portfolio acquisition. Whether you are looking to divest the risk within your existing portfolios and require a partner to help reshape your balance sheet or potentially exit the market. We offer a solution that provides the required permissions and regulatory responsibilities to allow you to execute purchase transactions quickly and safely. 

We provide services on over 14 portfolios for our clients and have been managing legal title structures since 2008. We can handle all regulatory responsibility on the lenders behalf and our FCA Part IV permissions allow us to carry out activities such as: 

  • Transfer of equity
  • Porting 
  • Further lending 

Our mortgage services business is authorised and regulated by the FCA and provide the following services: 

  • Full regulatory responsibilities from when we take over servicing 
  • Clients retain full control over the operation of their portfolio 
  • Visibility of mortgage services' arrears and TCF policies            
  • Compliant with MCOB requirements.

Securitisation assistance

We have been administering securitised portfolios since 1997 when we began servicing the FRESH plc portfolio.
We are well versed in the structures and communications required between all parties to ensure investors are protected. Our reporting suite is built to encompass the requirements of investors and is rated by Fitch Ratings to an Investor Reporting Grade (IRG) of 4*. We understand the concerns and priorities of the lender and seek to ensure that sufficient income is collected to make payments, to optimise the performance of the loans, to ensure transparency, ease of use and the mitigation of risk.
