Rik’s new expanded role, after the successful acquisition of several Dutch mortgage players by Link Group, will include enhancing Link’s end-to-end mortgage servicing capability, in line with the company’s strategy to grow and strengthen its proposition in the region.

Rik has a wealth of experience in the pensions, mortgages and financial services industries. Before joining Link in November 2018, he set up and ran Inadmin, a pension administration business for one of the world’s largest fiduciary pension servicing companies, APG. Inadmin provides administration for pension funds and insurance companies, servicing more than 250,000 individuals.
He is also the founder and former CEO of Stater, one of the major mortgage servicing companies in the Netherlands.

Link Group is one of the largest independent loan servicers in Europe, with over €95bn of commercial and residential assets under management.

Robbie Hughes, Global CEO of Link’s banking and credit management division comments:

“Our Dutch business continues to go from strength to strength, and Rik’s knowledge and experience has played a significant part in that. His impact so far has been hugely positive to establish the Link brand in the Netherlands. I look forward to working with him to further support the integration and growth of the Link Group businesses.”

Rik Douwes, Country Managing Director, Netherlands comments:

“The Netherlands continues to be a vibrant market and I’ve really enjoyed being part of such a driven and expert team. Our end-to-end capability continues to grow and evolve, providing industry excellence for current and prospective broker, lender and investor clients. I look forward to helping Link continue on this exciting growth journey.”
